Atul Music Academy was founded by Atul Sir, a seasoned music educator with over 24 years of experience in teaching and mentoring aspiring musicians across both private and government sectors. His musical journey began with a remarkable performance in January 2001 at a national ceremony in Delhi, where he performed in front of the President, Prime Minister, and the Chiefs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, backed by his NCC ‘C’ Certificate credentials.

In 2004, Atul Sir formed a lasting friendship with renowned playback singer Abhijeet Ghoshal, 11-time consecutive winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and former Zee Bangla anchor, who remains a close associate and supporter of the academy. Over the years, he expanded his influence across Nagpur with 4–5 branches and introduced structured training in Guitar, Keyboard, Ukulele, and more.

In 2020, he performed for IES students during an Independence Day event at NADP Ordnance Factory, Defence Colony, Ambazari.

On Republic Day 2022, he was featured at the BNI Blanco event held at Centre Point Hotel. His engagement with the Indian Air Force and CGST Department further highlights his commitment to musical excellence, having trained many IRS officers and facilitated live performances with them.

A major milestone came on 15 April 2025, when Atul Sir proudly represented Atul Music Academy in a prestigious performance in front of the Vice President of India and the Governor of Maharashtra at NADT. Among his students was Waseem Ahmed Bhat (IAS), All India Rank 7 in UPSC, whose musical journey Atul Sir has guided.

He has received the Best Teacher and Music Coordinator Award from the Principal Director General of Income Tax at NADT in Delhi and had the honor of performing with Bollywood Sufi icon Kailash Kher. Today, he leads the “TaxTune – IRS Band,” formed during the 78th batch of IRS training at NADT, which has earned high praise from CBDT senior officials.

Through regular sessions, summer camps, and cultural programs, Atul Music Academy continues to prepare students for platforms like Indian Idol, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, and India’s Got Talent, blending tradition with performance at the highest level.
